In today's increasingly diverse, global, competitive business world, employee engagement continues to be a challenge for organizations and HR Executives. With thousands and sometimes millions of dollars spent on programs, the search for the best strategy still continues.
Why is this so important? The Gallup survey results indicate that:
-
Only 31.5% of U.S. employees engaged in 2014
-
Younger employees are least engaged – millennials
-
Actively disengaged employees cost the U.S. between $450 billion to $550 billion each year in lost productivity
Boosting the engagement of your least engaged employees is critical given the war on talent and expense associated with lost productivity. Below is a sampling of questions that will be discussed during this roundtable:
-
What are tangible ways in which employee engagement efforts can drive a competitive advantage?
-
What employee engagement efforts are leaders integrating into their core business strategies?
-
What can be done to increase the engagement of millennials and the least engaged employees?
-
With five generations in the workplace, which engagement strategies are best for each generation?
-
What role can HR play to boost the engagement of employees going forward?
